I had a lovely time, especially when I discovered the cozy lounge with a great selection of books and enjoyed a fantastic breakfast tailored to my dietary needs. I loved that there were options for relaxation like a calming spa and a heated pool. The kettle in my room was a bit finicky, but it didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment. 🌟

we had a fab stay at southfield hotel. the staff, especially sandra, were super friendly n helpful, made us feel at home. breakfast was amazin, with a full scottish that filled us up! our room was cozy and clean, we couldn't have asked for more. also, the hotel is in a great spot near the beach and local parks!
only downside was the noise from the road, made it a bit hard to sleep. also, the shower was a bit tricky to access.

During my recent stay, I was delighted by the warm service from the staff, particularly Sandra, who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The cozy atmosphere and breakfast choices truly made my experience special, with a delicious full Scottish breakfast to start the day. I found the room a bit small for a twin setup, which might be something to consider for future visits.

The hotel offers a relaxing lounge area and delicious cooked breakfast options. The only little downside was that the walls could be a bit thin, but it didn't take away from our pleasant experience. Definitely check out the local dining options nearby! 😊

missingWrote a review on Jun 10cozy loungeclean roomgood parkingheat issue
The room on the third floor offered a clean, well-equipped space for a reasonable price, with good parking options nearby. The cozy lounge area promised a comfortable spot to unwind after a long day.
The kettle in my room didn’t quite want to cooperate, frequently cutting out before actually boiling water—definitely a mood killer for a morning cuppa. On the breakfast front, the options felt limited. I could have used a proper pot of tea instead of dipping tea bags, and a bit more variety in the fruit selection would have been appreciated. heating control was a hassle, as the system stubbornly reset to a sweltering 28 degrees no matter how much I adjusted it.
